Population : There are 47 493 residents in Mina.

Municipal elections : In the last municipal elections of 2004, Mina counted 62 740 resgitered voters of which 32 827 actual voters.

Schools : Mina account 23 schools, 14 public school and 9 private schools. Thus, 6 767 students are schooled in the public institution, and 6 195 are schooled in the private ones.

Libraries : There is one public library in Mina. It is under the supervision of the Municipality and the ministry of Culture, it is an associative library.
