Municipality of Barich is located in the Kaza of Tyr (sour) one of Mohafazah of South Lebanon kazas (disticts). Mohafazah of South Lebanon is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. It's 89 kilometers (55.3046 mi) away from Beyrouth (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is of 350 meters (1) (1148.35 ft - 382.76 yd) above sea level. Barich surface stretches for 404hectares (4.04 km² - 1.55944 mi²)(2).

- Project "Public education in 10 villages in Tyr district"
The objectives of this project is to restore the public education systems adjusting them to the international emergency educational standards in order to promote a formal and informal education that is centered on the needs and rights of the child in 1 villages in areas affected by the conflict in the district of Tyr, through the empowerment and active involvement of youth in the local communities.
