Municipality of Maaroub is located in the Kaza of Tyr (sour) one of Mohafazah of South Lebanon kazas (disticts). Mohafazah of South Lebanon is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. It's 88 kilometers (54.6832 mi) away from Beyrouth (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is of 270 meters (1) (885.87 ft - 295.272 yd) above sea level. Maaroub surface stretches for 542hectares (5.42 km² - 2.09212 mi²)(2).
