Municipality of Jibbain is located in the Kaza of Tyr (sour) one of Mohafazah of South Lebanon kazas (disticts). Mohafazah of South Lebanon is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. It's 115 kilometers (71.461 mi) away from Beyrouth (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is of 440 meters (1) (1443.64 ft - 481.184 yd) above sea level. Jibbain surface stretches for 300hectares (3 km² - 1.158 mi²)(2).
