Location
Municipality of Naqoura is located in the Kaza of Tyr (sour) one of Mohafazah of South Lebanon kazas (disticts). Mohafazah of South Lebanon is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. It's 103 kilometers (64.0042 mi) away from Beyrouth (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is of 60 meters (1) (196.86 ft - 65.616 yd) above sea level. Naqoura surface stretches for 1011hectares (10.11 km² - 3.90246 mi²)(2).

- Socio-Economic Rehabilitation Programme for Southern Lebanon (2000/2009)
Based on the recommendations of the regional development strategy and its socio-economic development components, UNDP and CDR jointly launched a programme of support for post-conflict socio-economic rehabilitation in Southern Lebanon.
