Location

Municipality of Aanqoun is located in the Kaza of Saida one of Mohafazah of South Lebanon kazas (disticts). Mohafazah of South Lebanon is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. It's 51 kilometers (31.6914 mi) away from Beyrouth (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is of 100 meters (1) (328.1 ft - 109.36 yd) above sea level. Aanqoun surface stretches for 920hectares (9.2 km² - 3.5512 mi²)(2).
