Mohafazah of South-Lebanon is one of the eight Lebanese mohafazat. It consists of three kaza, Jezzine, Saida (Sidon) and Tyr (Sour). Saida (Sidon) is the administrative center of the South-Lebanon mohafazah.
There is four federation of municipalities and 138 municipalities in the mohafazah. In the last municipal elections (2004), the mohafazah of South-Lebanon counted 553 280 resgitered voters of which 305 087 voters. [1]
